A Letter From The Pastors

Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture, saith the Lord. Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people;  Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away and have not visited them.  Behold I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord.  And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.  And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed increase.  And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them; and they; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the Lord. Jeremiah 23:1-4

This is the scripture that the Lord gave us when He called us to start Calvary Temple Church in April of 1985. We had seen many people hurt in the name of religion and God was calling us to reach out and minister healing to them and restore them to spiritual health so they could go forth and fulfill the calling God had placed on their lives.

We have been blessed here at Calvary Temple Church, to help in the reconciliation and healing of numerous ministry gifts who have been restored back to the spiritual health and are now back in full time ministry.  We thank God for all of them!

God has never given us a vision of enormous edifices of an elaborate ministry, but a simple call of reaching out to those who were oppressed, lost and hurting.  Our heart is not for buildings but for SOULS! Our desire is to see God transform lives and help establish and disciple those lives into the ministry gift that God has for them. And in His timing we send them forth to disciple others.

We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, from front cover to back, and it is still as powerful today as it was thousands of years ago and that the promises therein are still promises for His people today. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues and we believe God still heals, delivers and sets people free from bondage. We encourage an intimate relationship with Jesus that the fruit of the Spirit may manifest in our lives.
